Think chic neutral tones, deep contrast, shimmering cat eye effects, and delicate silver accents. Perfect for anyone wanting nails that feel expensive and sophisticated.
We’ve put together a step-by-step tutorial so you can recreate Meg’s Van Cleef-inspired design at home using Naio Nails and Urban Graffiti products.
The products you’ll need
Step 1. Base and prep

Start by prepping your nails — push back cuticles and gently buff the nail surface.

Apply Biscuit Crumbs as the base colour for a soft, neutral background. Cure under the lamp.
Step 2. Drawing the design

Using a fine brush, paint your chosen Van Cleef-inspired pattern in Serious Black directly over the Biscuit Crumbs base.

Cure to lock in the design.
Step 3. Burnishing the chrome

Using a chrome applicator, gently rub the Cat Eye Pigment Powder – BJD01 across the nail.

The pigment will adhere only to the black areas, making the pattern pop with a luxurious metallic shimmer.

Dust off any excess pigment before moving on.
Step 4. Adding the silver accents

Instead of glue, Meg used Clear As Day Builder In A Bottle to apply the Silver Studs around the edges of the pattern.

The builder gel gives more working time, so you can place each stud neatly without rushing.

Cure once you’re happy with the placement.
Step 5. Seal and finish

Apply a generous layer of Urban Graffiti Top Coat to all nails, sealing in the pigment and studs.

The thick top coat not only protects the design but also adds extra strength and a high-gloss, jewellery-like finish.
The final reveal
